I Agree with the article because volunteering can certainly help people who need the comfort and support from other who do it and they can use the self satisfaction from volunteering to help them selves feel better. Most people don't do it because they feel they don't have enough time or just don't want to put forth the effort, and some of the ones that do, do it because they either have a want to do it or there is some reward for it afterward.

Media Violence Study

This study compared to the study from yesterday is clearly more researched and well written, it also admits to it's failure in parts where it is needed. The study had a more spread out ethnicity group and the actual study was clearly noted and they used formulas to calculate the results. This was an all around well written study and could clearly be used in actual scientific research if someone wanted to re- create the experiment they have the tools necessary to attempt such a study, though the results will very because people all think differently . I also like the fast that it was based for the empathy of the character they were watching rather than just shoving a non conclusive fact that all people who witness acts of violence will not cal for help or would act more aggressively toward someone in the same situation.

For one I don't think the article was very well written up, and the experiment is kind of too open... but if the stuff contained in the study was more exact i think it could be more of a social learning process in an observational learning sense because they are observing the behavior then feeling those emotions. After looking at the questionnaire I'm not sure what speeding tickets have to do with how rap videos influence anger.
